Eyebrows Pre-Care & After Care
Pre-Care
-
It's beneficial to come to your appointment with your brows grown out. It is beneficial to see how your hair grows naturally for the design process, they will be cleaned up at your appointment. If you would like to clean or tint them beforehand, please do so seven days before your appointment.
-
If you pencil or color in your brows, please pencil them in how you like them. The area will be properly cleaned and redrawn but thus provides a general idea of the shape you would like.
-
If you do not pencil in your brows, you can bring reference photos of brows you like but it is not necessary.
-
You must stop using Retin A, Retinal, or Renova around your brow area 14 days prior to procedure. You must stop using accutaine six months prior to procedure.
-
Inform your technician of how often you use any of these products before your appointment.
-
Botox, Fillers or Dysport must be done at least 14 days prior to your appointment. It takes 2 weeks to settle in the skin. Receiving either within 14 days of your appointment will result in being sent home and asked to reschedule.
After Care
-
Keep in mind that your eyebrow tattoo immediately is still considered an open wound and should be treated and cared for. Be sure to wash your hands thoroughly before touching your brows.
-
Proper care after your procedure is VERY IMPORTANT to achieve the best-healed results.
-
Your results are Part PRE CARE, ARTIST TECHNIQUE, and your AFTER CARE once you leave your appointment.
-
Please be patient. The first session is to see how your skin responds to the pigment. In many cases, some unevenness and color loss are to be expected.
-
The purpose of the touch-up is to address and make any minor adjustments necessary to the healed results from your initial session.
-
For the first hour after leaving your appointment, lightly blot your brows every 15 minutes to soak off any lymph fluid to achieve the best results.
-
Twenty-four hours after your appointment, you will clean the area with a cotton ball or cotton round with filtered or distilled water. NO TAP WATER. Clean the area by blotting with the soaked cotton ball or round with light pressure until thoroughly cleaned, blotting dry, and applying the aftercare we provide. Continue this clean process twice daily for a week. (morning and night)

Eyeliner Pre-Care & After Care
Pre-Care
-
Do not come to your appointment wearing contact lenses. If you need glasses to drive home, bring them to the appointment.
-
Lash extensions cannot be worn during eyeliner procedures. Make sure your lash set is completely removed prior to your appointment.
-
You will have a follow up appointment 4-6 weeks after the initial appointment so it is best to plan to go without lash extensions for 2 months total.
-
If you use Matisse or other lash-growth serums, discontinue them four weeks prior to your appointment.
After Care
-
Post-procedure, it is expected to have watery eyes, puffiness, and redness. This is normal and may be treated with an ice pack for 5-10 min. With a clean, moist Q-Tip(not your fingers), apply a thin layer of A&D Ointment to the treated area a few times daily. Less is better. You may also use an eye cleanser or drops on the first day. Do not let the color dry out. It's OK to shower as usual- water will not affect your permanent cosmetics.
-
DO NOT use mascara or any other eye makeup for three days.
-
After three days, treat yourself with a new mascara tube to avoid secondary infection. Use a gentle eye makeup remover.
-
As the eyes begin to heal, some flaking will occur. This flaking is normal and is to be expected. Do not pick or try to peel this skin off. When the flaking completes, you view the color from under the skin as your body creates a protective layer of skin. Most clients will see about 30-50% less color after healing is completed after the first session.
-
All the fine detail work and finishing touches are done at the second session. At that time, you may wish to darken or thicken your eyeliner. I always say," The second, or follow-up visit, is when the magic happens."
-
This treatment is permanent, but expect color to fade over time. Fading is dependent on your skin's age and its ability to retain color. Darker colors will last longer than the lighter ones.
-
Enjoy the freedom of your new eyeliner!

No vitamin E
NIGHT BEFORE
-
Exfoliate and add lip treatment to hydrate lips

After Care
-
Do not pick, scratch, lick, pull, tear, or try to remove the peeling in any way. You will experience color loss if you do so.
-
Do not smoke during the healing process.
-
Do not get toothpaste or mouthwash on your lips. This can remove pigment.
-
Do not let any makeup, lotions, or soap touch your lips.
-
Clean the lips by dabbing them with filtered water and clean Q-tips. Do this gently. If you need to use a finger to clean them, make sure you have throughly washed your hands right before.
-
Apply a sheer layer of A&D vitamin ointment to the lips consistently throughout the day. Keep them hydrated and moisturized at all times. This will help accelerate the healing process.
-
Apply a thicker layer of A&D before you brush your teeth, take a shower, prior to eating, and first thing when you wake up.
-
For the first five days, use minimal amounts of toothpaste.
-
Use a straw to drink liquids for the first five days.
-
Avoid foods that are salty and spicy.
-
Avoid eating foods that could cause friction to the lips.
-
Color is more vibrant immediately after and will soften up to 40%-60%(this will depend on the natural pigment of lips, color choice, and aftercare)
-
APPROXIMATELY 11 DAYS to 6 WEEKS AFTER:
-
Lip color will look like it all disappeared and nothing took. Trust the journey! A protective barrier forms during the healing process, fades away and then color will reappear.
-
Complete healing takes approximately 6-8 weeks.
-
Touch-up is not mandatory because some clients hold excellent retention and are happy with their results, but it is normal to need a touch-up to achieve the perfect lip blush.

After Care
-
You may shower and bathe as usual, but do not submerge your new tattoo in the bath, swimming pool, hot tub, or most importantly natural bodies of water such as lakes. AVOID excessive sweating 5-7 days after getting your freckles, as this may affect the healing process and end results.
IMPORTANT:
-
DO NOT apply any makeup or skincare products over your healing freckles. This will almost always result in either infection or pigment loss. Skincare/makeup can affect the way that the newly implanted pigments bond with your skin. Once you see that the freckles have all flaked(you may not notice the flaking; they might just appear lighter), you can apply makeup over them. You will want to wait at least two weeks before using any harsher skincare products over the treated area, and you will want to avoid any ingredients that cause photosensitivity because they will cause the freckles to fade faster. Below are the typical ingredients that cause photosensitivity- when re-introducing any of these ingredients back into your skincare routine, listen to your body! If you feel like your skin is reacting more than it usually does (burning. redness, etc.), give your skin another week or two before trying it again.
-
AHA's & BHA's (Latin, glycolic, salicylic), Benzoyl Peroxide, Hydroquinone, Retinol & Retinoids, Topical Prescriptions, some Essential oils (bergamot, bitter orange, grapefruit, lemon, lime, mandarin leaf), Fruit Enzymes.
-
DO NOT pick at your new freckle tattoos during the first stage of the healing process. This will result in color loss and could possibly even cause scarring. Allow your body to naturally exfoliate and regenerate on its own.
-
The flaking will start around day 3-4 and will be finished 7-10 days after the day of your procedure.
-
Although I do everything to ensure a smooth, easy healing process for you- it is essential to follow the aftercare guidelines provided to you and follow them to the best of your ability.
-
Once your skin has healed, you must limit sun exposure; sun(and tanning beds) will cause fading and discoloration. Any touch-ups or additions to your new tattoo can be done six weeks after the initial procedure.

Non-Laser Tattoo Removal Pre-Care & After Care
Pre-Care
-
Contraindications:
1)If the area of the tattoo is inflamed, injured, or sunburned, delay the procedure until such time that the skin has healed and recovered completely. Clients with undiagnosed lesions, weeping acne, warts, and rosacea on or near the treated area, should not have a removal until their skin has healed.
2) Pregnant or nursing women are not recommended for the UNDO tattoo removal treatment.
3) Clients who are undergoing chemotherapy are not suitable for tattoo removal. They are at greater risk for infections and skin changes. Minor skin problems are also common such as rashes, itching, peeling, redness, dryness, and increased sensitivity.
4) Those who have a history of keloid scarring are not suitable for non-laser tattoo removal.
5) Clients who have poorly controlled diabetes are generally not advised to undergo a tattoo as well as have a tattoo removed. Diabetics are especially prone to uncontrolled bleeding, blistering, and infection
After Care
-
The natural healing process can take between 4 and 8 weeks to fully recover, depending on the size and location of the skin that was worked on. The longer the period to recover, the greater the healing results will be. Wait four weeks for a follow-up session. The client may purchase additional healing masks to help speed up their wound healing process.
-
Apply Silver Gel with a clean cotton swab 2-3 times daily for ten days. It is NOT recommended to cover the treated area unless absolutely necessary. If the treated area has to be covered, use a "tended" bandage that can allow air to circulate and be removed as soon as possible.
-
No sweating for the first 3-5 days in order to keep the area clean and avoid infection risks.
It is imperative that the client wear an SPF of 30 or higher containing Zinc to protect the treated area after the scabbing has healed. -
The area must be kept clean at all times during the healing process.
-
No cosmetics are applied to the treated area until the scabbing has subsided.
-
Incorporating Bromelain as a supplement has helped to speed up the healing process.
